An introduction

Welcome to the Mall Mouse Blog.  This is going to become your gourmet cheese shop away from home for stories of my (almost daily, to my husband’s great chagrin) shopping conquests.  You know, there is a reason the term “retail therapy” was born.  Is there a bigger high than coming home with a bag full of ferocious finds?

This is a diary of great money saving experiences. Some postings will be a tale of a “retail therapy” session followed by a short summary of what was bought, where, and how.  Others will be examples you can use in your everyday life to save a little bit of money while maintaining the lifestyle to which you’re dying to become accustomed.

play register One day junior mouse, age 3, asked me to play a game with him. He wanted to play the “cash register game.”  This was something we had never played before, so I asked him to explain this game to me because I don’t know how to play. His answer was, “that’s not true mommy, I’ve seen you play the cash register game in the store lots and lots of times!”
